blame

Ok, so I’m not a writer. At least by writer’s standards that have been thrust upon me. It wasn’t even a valiant effort. I did get to attend a new writers group this past week. That should count for something. And the teaching for my community o’ faith was much more of a literary work than the usual offering. They were just coincidences though, merely anomalies within an otherwise lame effort. I could blame it on practically anything. This has been an unusually draining few weeks with one more to go. However, my feeling is that if a challenge can be conquered against intimidating odds, then it can be conquered anytime. I’m not sure of the wisdom here, but I’ll not whine “It’s not my fault”. It is what it is. Time to regroup and reevaluate, I don’t have time for blame.
Life is too short. Get over it and move on. Try again. Take another angle. Those are all preferable to me over “It’s not my fault”. Why is it always about fault anyway? I can’t tell you how many I encounter in my pastoral arts position who are paralyzed by blame. They are justified by “It’s not my fault”. What difference does it make? Is there resolution to the conflict by placing blame? Does one get any closer to the goal with the magical phrase “it’s not my fault”? You’ll not hear that from me. I’d much rather put my head down and press on to my original goal. So I was lame this week, what does next week have to offer?
I guess part of this weeks perspective, if I’m honest (which is always a good thing), comes from my study and consequent teaching to my community o’ faith. This week found us in the garden with Jesus as he begged the Father to “take this cup”. He wanted relief from the suffering that was approaching. It was suffering, by the way, for something that was not “his fault”. He would eventually be killed. He could have wasted his energy on blame. He could have run and hid like his friends. He could have blamed his childhood or the crappy living conditions that he was born into. Not many of us can compare ours to a stable. He could have pleaded the unconstitutionality of the charges against him. He could have claimed poor representation from his lawyer. He put his head down pressed on towards his destiny.
How many of us can say that? How many of us can compare our past week to his last week? Get over it. You may not believe what I believe at all about all of this. I am certainly OK with that. If you don’t though, I want you to be sure that it has nothing to do with a desire to place blame somewhere else. Don’t let it be because you don’t think that it’s fair, needing a Savior I mean. I like to think of myself as honest enough to realize that I need second chances. I fail all on my own. It may not be immediately related to my own actions, but chances are, if you trace it back far enough, I share in the “blame”. So I choose to live my moments secure in the knowledge that at a moment in time, what I couldn’t do for myself, was done by someone refusing to place blame.

Hmm. the Accuser. where have I heard that before?
But lets think. Where would we all be without critical thought and thinking. The buck has to stop somewhere . Right Danny Boi?
But some might see it good this emblamatic model of the wipping boy. This savior.
Where does the "redemptive" translate . To a relationship with to the abstract, or an extreme analogy promoting social cohesion.
A GOOD number of pious and faithfull (and civil)jews went quietly and awaringly to slaughter not to long ago. They were sons of God. Can I pray to them too?
The redemptive.Did the Holocoust
victim participate in it? I'm sure a few individuals did.Did they die for my sins? Do they get to the jesus heaven?
Why this? I had to speak of a dielectic concerning blame.
Blame is important. It needs to be accurate. It needs to be comprehensive as well as concise.
Also detachment and a fluidity are biggees in attaining needed resolutions.
On the other hand ,blame left to the unconciouable is fodder for "THE ACCUSOR". ha ha ha TRY that one on yer pulpit.
OH ya, keep keepin yer head down bitch. What would Jesus do?

Hello, there anonymous. This is Anonymous, too. Everyone has an agenda, now don't they? What's yours? To raise Dan's blood pressure? To place doubt in his and others faith? Try again. For longer than you or I have been around, people have tried. The directed anger you so cowardly aim toward "Danny Boi" should be directed only at your reflection. Or wait, can you even bare to look at yourself? Probably not. The buck does stop somewhere, and you'll recognize it in your last breath. Remember me when you're at that point, anonymous, and when you do, remember that you also have the choice of salvation. People like you rarely, if ever come back to read comments about your post, so we'll see what happens here. Please. If you didn't buy into it even just a bit, none of this would be a blip on your radar, but the sad truth is that you're struggling to hold onto your own inner demon. Why, anonymous? Did God not answer a prayer for you when you were little? Did you expect different from your life to this day that you don't care to be accountable for? Or are YOU the smart one?! If only you knew that you're not. Where do you fit into this life, anonymous? What would you have done had you been in line with the Jews? Or maybe even standing beside Hilter himselfwho knew how to place blame as well. Except, he wasn't smart enough to follow the trail far enough to realize his mistakes. No, you smart, angry ones need a dose of reality, and you'll only ever realize it, if you're BLESSED. Like it or not.

yo back,
speaking of agenda ,why would you come to dans defense? ha ha you got pretty touchy there.
I suspect Dan might know who I am. Yes ,raising Dan blood presure over any concept concerning FAITH is for the most part large motivation. But the only tellable response is yours so far . You addresed 'the adverseriel' here with "smart" and "angry" numerious times. Why don't you ACCOUNT for that a little while. ya peebrain.
OK settle down, settle down (me).
I believe I'm not unique when I say; I consider it mostly complete to see all matters of Faith untenable with Reason, this as addressed in long analysis. In other words faith is just that, faith.
Ive met Dan a few times, and have an opinion of his essential nature. He is a good man. But ive found myself antangonistic to some of his Christian Retoric. I (think I) say this as Insider ,ha ha. My blog here previous are only broad generalized argument. They were percosiously written to provoke an emotional response.
But so far Dans not bitin'. Mabye he's in deeper water.
Also , I would of never made it to the Death Camps. I would have died alot earlier takin some nazi bastard with me.

Dan's defense? I thought you knew it all. Don't you know it's about defending faith and Christ and God? Your facade of attempting to stir up emotion isn't working, and you're more transparent than you believe. And why are you so worried about Dan's "Christian Retoric" anyway? Why does it matter to you, if you've got it all figured out? What's it any of your business? Can it be that you envy his faith and security in who he is? You're in serious need something, and I sure hope you find it. Oh, and flattery by calling me peebrain will get you nowhere. How about attempting to find your *truth* in a civil manner? Too much of a challenge for your genius? Come on, you're like Andy Kaufman reading the Great Gatsby to an audience of one, and even he's about to leave. You really need to get a clue. Your objective is to place doubt because of your own inner insecurities; mine isn't. What are your real issues? Talk to us, and maybe we can untangle the twisted mess you are. I've got time, and your stuff doesn't scare me. Let's talk about YOU, anonymous! Oh yes, before I leave you, isn't it great that you fell for the hook, too? You crack me up. Next time don't take so long!

You're too kind, anonymous, but what makes you so sure we can meet? No, this is a conversation everyone should be allowed to follow. Let's not leave anyone just hanging and wondering about it. Good to know you can be civil.

would you be interested in looking up the word and idea, Ontology or Ontological, and sharing your thoughts?

Which are you, Socrates or Nietzsche??? : ) I hope you're not of the Nietzsche school cause that guy was messed up. With that said, I have no question about my beliefs and I don't want to prove or disprove anyone elses thoughts or opinions, BUT as you have seen you have a buddy to discuss things with. I can't discount your doubts either. Have you noticed that Dan's not involved in this conversation, anonymous? Why is that?

anonymous, I truly hope that wasn't you that posted the above comment. I'm not offended by what you said, and maybe you were simply having a bad day. I'll be around, if you care to carry the conversation.
